fabin prakash has always cared more about the shoes than the outfit. so he did the reasonable thing and started his own sneaker brand from scratch. today, he's the founder of echos above. his parents are still waiting for him to grow out of it.

india makes shoes for the world. we thought it was about time it made a sneaker brand for the world too.
india has the craftsmanship, the leather, the talent and the manufacturing expertise to make some of the world's finest footwear. yet, when it comes to globally recognised sneaker brands, we rarely look at home.
we thought that could change.
we want to build a sneaker brand from india that can stand alongside the best in the world. one that takes craftsmanship seriously, thinks beyond borders and isn't afraid to do things differently. we're not here to make shoes for the world. we're here to build a brand the world can call its own.

we started with an idea and absolutely no clue how far it would go. then you showed up. you bought the sneakers, shared the videos, waited on restocks and told your friends. somewhere along the way, this got a lot bigger than we imagined. we’ve had sellouts, sleepless nights, production headaches and plenty of lessons. we’re still learning, still making and still figuring out what’s next. but one thing hasn’t changed: we want to build something people feel connected to, not just something they wear.
